AT TCC CENTER FOR INNOVATION, DOWNTOWN. Star Swain entered the national spotlight when her compelling rendition of the Star Spangled Banner at the Lincoln Memorial went viral with more than 40 million views online. The impromptu performance stopped tourists in their tracks, became an internet and media sensation, and created opportunities nationally and worldwide. As we celebrate Startup Week Tallahassee, come hear Star's fascinating story, the opportunities it created, the lessons she learned, and her suggestions on how you might create and be ready for your special moment. Star will also tell us about Swain Maed, her non-profit to promote message music and performing arts while emphasizing the need for music and arts in education.
